  1. I agree with MrDobberDude. The wine option at Sukhothai Hotel buffet cost as much as the buffet. If you want champagne, it cost more than the meal. In Hong Kong, a similar class hotel buffet will have same champagne option at 20%-30% of the meal.

  2. dual pricing is brilliant. I golf a lot in thailand and as a foreigner, i pay the higher prices, but i understand the local reasoning behind it. Wish my home government was smart enough to do this sort of thing.

  3. Hello Thaiger team….i just want to let you know that. As i see it.I have to say that the motion blur in your recent videos is not good. I havent checked the stats for nerd of older videos that i think they might have been better i have also noticed that Kates videos do look better. Hers are at 30FPS and yours are at 25FPS might be also that the codec you are are using is poor or the bit rate is poor or the transcoding for youtube is not good. But…it should be an easy fix. Viewers do unconciously stop watching videos becouse of this things even if they like the content as it is percived as a "lesser" product quickly subcontiously. I wish all the best to you chanell and thats why i am commmenting even if clearlly its not my bussiness. i hope i havent been too intrusive. All the best

PS.: i will add a link so that you yourself can check if you see a difference in motiong blur( this specially rin relation to movement of limbs including head movement and facial expressions) from a channel that does a maximun of 720p (not so data hungry) but at 60FPS becouse of the motion blur related to body movent head movement and facial expressions: ( its ESPN FC)

  4. Re: Taxes on cars. They tax imported cars heavily here (Malaysia). I'm all for it. The last thing we need is more crazy BMW and Audi drivers speeding up and down the highway consuming more gasoline and causing accidents. That's what we'll get if they reduce the tax. The last sort of person I'd have sympathy for is someone who "can't afford" a BMW and is "forced" to drive a Toyota because they tax imported cars.

  5. I would have thought that the idea of dropping tax rates on alcohol would be to benefit the general public.
Thai public. So why should they not comment if the sellers reap in a higher profit because of lower tax rates.
Many have money problems so a cheaper rate benefits the Thai people.
I sometimes think foreigners believe they are the only ones in Thailand. Especially those with good jobs and money

  6. As to Thai airlines, how did government forcing 1/2 price student ticket sales to wher we could not buy a regular price economy help their bottom line. We used to fly every year or 2 times round trip BKK LAX, but when it was either not available, or almost 1000 USD more than BKK China HK Japan 1 stop, uh thats how to kill an airline as those tickets lost the business money. So a once great airline was trashed by government freeloaders.

  7. Nah! While you can decide not to visit an establishment because of dual pricing, you cannot NOT seek medical treatment. It’s different when you have child pricing and you show appreciation of the seniors for the contributions they have done for the society.

  8. . What do you believe the tax could be once THC Cannabis is legalized? Cannabis another plant which grows freely from the ground as does Kratom which has no tax just curious. ….. Cannabis remains at level #5. Then we now as of July 1st have Opioids were reduced to level #2… Another question If one were to compare Alcohol, Opioids, Cannabis, Kratom & Ya ba pills which would be the least harmful over extended usage. Lets use a window of two months as the amount of extended use

  9. Why would the fluffy dog "attract beautiful women" and not unattractive women?? Do unattractive ladies not like fluffy dogs? Or do you first train the fluffy dog to growl at and chase away all less than attractive ladies!! Clever!! Kindly elucidate the methodology at play here.

  10. Re-dual pricing… many years ago I was in a small Thai restaurant with a Thai friend and I noticed a menu up on the wall written in Thai…and then turned my head and saw another menu on the opposite wall written in English. That's very thoughtful I thought…until I realised that the pricing was different for the same dishes! Chicken fried rice in Thai was 20B and in English was 30B. I asked my Thai friend why 2 different prices. He answered completely straight-faced that if you can read Thai you pay the Thai price and if you can't then you pay the 'English' price!!!

  11. I have a feeling that Jay and Mike forgot to honour their advertising obligations while Tim was away and now they are frantically trying to make up for at the start of each episode
